An endoscopy is a procedure named after the endoscope, a long, thin tube with a light and camera at the end of it. During a nasal endoscopy, the endoscope is inserted through the nose and a clear picture is revealed on a screen.
Nasal endoscopy is particularly useful for scanning areas of the body that can’t be reached with a standard examination, such as the nasal passages.
